
We are delighted to announce Prof. Iris Eisenberger as the keynote speaker for the Tenth GIG-ARTS Conference, taking place at Dublin City University on May 14–15, 2026.
Iris Eisenberger is Professor of Innovation and Public Law at the Department of Innovation and Digitalisation in Law at the Faculty of Law (University of Vienna). Her work focuses on innovation and technology law, the protection of fundamental and human rights and research at the intersection of law, innovation and society.
This is also a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit extended abstracts is 19 January 2026. Submissions should be made via the conference portal: GIG-ARTS 2026 – ConfTool
This edition’s conference theme, “Digital Futures, Sustainable Freedoms: Rights, Responsibilities, and Governance” invites thought-provoking discussions and research contributions. Participants are encouraged to submit abstracts of no more than 500 words, outlining their research question(s), theoretical framework, approach and methodology, and expected findings or empirical outcomes.
